Special Processes

The Promaduct-80 process, developed by us, is a method for zinc plating high-strength steel parts. Based on the galvanic principle, it allows, through targeted control and application of various known treatment parameters, the zinc plating of steel without subsequent heat treatment. The limit for steel is 1200 N/mm2. For higher-strength steels, we also carry out a heat treatment at 195 to 220 °C.

The main advantages of the Promaduct-80 process compared to today’s common methods are as follows:

Zinc plating is performed in a single step, with no process interruptions.
Corrosion protection of the deposited layers is ensured by a homogeneous structure.
Environmentally friendly zinc plating without cyanide
All our processes are free of cyanide. Since 2024, we have been working exclusively with weakly acidic zinc baths. Depending on the base material and the required coating properties, one or another process is applied.
